The Lifetime Impact Action Grip Portable Basketball Stand features a fan-shaped Impact backboard which is molded of high-density polyethylene and can withstand the demands of aggressive play. Backboard graphics are screen-printed with UV-protected inks, offering fade-resistant color. Rim height is set by Lifetime's Action Grip® Height Adjustment which offers easy one-hand adjustment by simply squeezing the handle. Counter-balance springs help to lift or lower the backboard to the desired height from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments without the use of tools, broomsticks or cranks. The Slam-It® Goal features double-compression springs providing spring-back action. Constructed of solid steel, this 5/8-inch rim is supported by ½-inch braces and is built for competitive play with welded-steel net hooks and an all-weather nylon net. The x-large portable base is blow-molded to form a seamless, one-piece part which gives superior strength and durability and provides a stable foundation by filling it with water or sand. The base is UV-protected and won't crack or degrade outdoors.
