Postage charges at Basketball Asylum are calculated on the total weight of your order and your location. Please see the table below for detailed information.
Please Note that free postage on orders of £100.00 and over applies to UK mainland only and does not include certain rural areas of Scotland and those outside of mainland UK.

Those ordered to be shipped to some rural areas of Scotland and those outside of mainland UK may incur extra postal charges over and above those added by our shopping cart. If extra postage is required we will contact you as soon as possible after receiving your order.
BFPO
Small BFPO orders are sent by Royal Mail. Sometimes a small surcharge is necessary, in which case we will contact you before processing your order. For large orders (eg. basketball systems) please telephone on 01388 607231 before ordering.

Delivery Info
Our deliveries are made by Royal Mail for small packages and DHL or Parcel Force for larger items.
Your order will be despatched as soon as possible. Most orders are shipped within 2 - 5 working days. Occasionally however if, for example, we are awaiting new stock of an item you have ordered, there may be a delay in despatching your order. Please therefore allow up to 10 working days for delivery.
Most deliveries will require a signature so please ensure there is someone available to sign for your order. If no-one is present at the delivery address the parcel will be taken back to your local Royal Mail, DHL or Parcel Force distribution centre, and a calling card left. The card will tell you where your parcel is being stored and provide a contact number for you to call to arrange for re-delivery or collection.
PLEASE NOTE: If an order is returned to us by the courier as undelivered because of either a customer's refusal to accept the delivery, or the customer not responding to cards left by the courier requesting contact to arrange re-delivery, the charges made to us by the courier will be the responsibility of the customer. At present the charge to us for any order returned as undelivered is £5.50. The extra postage charge for re-delivery of such orders will also be the responsibillity of the customer.
